Everyday Dose Of Reality
It is time to tackle the corner bathroom. This is the bathroom that consists of two rooms. The first has a sink and toilet, plus the new flooring I put in a couple of weeks ago. Second room of the bathroom has the shower unit, from who knows what year. It reminds me of a old time gas station washroom shower, and that is not a good thing since our house is not a sixty year old Mobile Station. Two walls are shelf units, and the tile. Oh my the tile is hideous! I touched before on how I feel about flesh tone tile, and I don’t think we need to go over that again, Yak! The walls are flesh tone, but the floor is something of a vomit color enigma. Funky yellowish-green with some greenish-gray tiles tossed in. I recall seeing these colors when my children started eating baby food and it came out the other end. We will say this bathroom is very dated, and the colors scream “hey look at me I’m from the 50’s”. Or, the bathroom is just screaming, “help me! Someone help me”. This bathroom will take me a while due to the fact that every child I have will be crammed in the bathroom with me, plus the dogs. It will be done in layers and slow steps. Today I start the long task of scrubbing off 57 years of funk.
