Adventures Of Orthos
Shayla and I tried to help my mom the other day. I figured I needed to step up and do some house cleaning with her and show Shayla the ropes. Buck was off sleeping again, I swear he should be the most handsome dog in the world with all the beauty sleep he gets!
Mom was down in the laundry room folding clothes on the table. The washer door was open with a load waiting to be put in the dryer. What could it hurt right? I shoved my big old head in the washer, grabbed a mouth full of clothing and shoved it in the dryer. Some fell on the floor and SHAYLA not ME, grabbed the stuff and took off down the hallway. I didn’t notice this until after the second mouthful was in the dryer. Figured I would pick up the stuff I dropped, but it was gone! I went out into the hallway and there it was. Shayla had a small pile of whites on the floor and she was rolling all over them. Uh hello we just came in from swamp swimming, not a good thing rolling on mom’s whites.
Words to the wise all you dogs out there…no rolling on the clean clothes while covered in muck and swamp water. In hind sight you might just want to leave the laundry to your mom altogether. She is not going to be happy with muck in her washer of clean clothes either. I think I will try vacuuming instead, now to grab that big blue sucky thing and drag it to the bedroom. Woo hope those teeth holes in the hose will go away.
