Everyday Dose Of Reality
Crazy hair day at school Monday the kids tell me Sunday evening. OK, look the hell out Vidal and John Mitchell there’s a new kid in town, and she has eggs! Well eggs, rag rollers, a plastic cup and a hairdryer. I haven’t used a hair dryer for YEARS! Um, other than drying the kids hair a bit after a bath in the colder months. What I am talking about is actually styling the hair with a dryer. I pretty much gave up on that years ago when I finally gave in to the realization that my hair refuses to defy gravity. When you say 2 x 4 I say hair. Mine is as straight as and arrow. Macgyver and I have children that have actual body in their hair, so lucky. At any rate one child left with a cooked omelet in his hair. Another child we will now call Frankenstien’s Bride had a hidden cup, a layer of egg, and topped off the poof with some Bed Head. Tinker Belle was rag rolling it to school, Drama Queen Sierra headed out with braids galore and spiked bangs. Minnie Mouse left in curls since her school wasn’t doing crazy hair.
The fun tonight will be to get all the goop out of the hair…fun fun fun.
