Everyday Dose Of Reality
Today I am home alone with all the kids but one. Macgyver and Isabelle have headed down to the twin cities to pick up a solar heating unit. I was shown yesterday how to drill into the tile and concrete walls. Here I am with the drill, screws and plugs. What could go wrong if I put up the rest of the false walls in the kitchen? I would be ready to hang the cabinets once I was done, but I don’t think I should try that with only an eleven year old helping me. I drilled one hole yesterday on my test run and can I just say holy vibrating eyeballs! It took FORever to get one hole done. Macgyver makes it look so easy. Then again I am standing on top of a counter and holding this eight pound drill over my head. I can do this! I will do this…even if my eyes stay bouncing around in my skull for the next week.
Today holes, tomorrow…uh cabinets? It may take me all damn day to get this last hole drilled geesh.
