Everyday Dose Of Reality
Macgyver and I have been talking more and more about getting another car. We have a big huge suburban for hauling the kids around in. It is a 2001 and when then noise level inside is on the low side (kids sleeping passed out from boredom) you can almost hear the truck sucking gas. OK, so it is not nearly as bad as the ocean going vessels we had in the 70’s, but in a day and age of cars making it 40 miles to the gallon, our Titanic could use a rest. We figure since all of the kids are now in school, leave the truck in the garage and drive a smaller car unless the entire crew is going on an outing.
We have been looking at a tic tac car. Wait, I know that is not the correct name, but every time I see one of those tiny cars that is the first thing that comes to mind a tic tac candy. Oh yeah…it’s called a smart car. See if I take a few seconds I can get things right, sometimes, once in a while, OK ok like 6 times out of 10. Our next step is to find a dealer near us and go test drive one. Both of us are kind of wondering if we will feel like 2 sharks trapped in a glass after driving the truck for so many years.
Maybe even a Kia Soul, minus the dancing hamsters. Then again it has been a while since I got all my junk moving and busted a move.
