Projects & Recipes
I think most of you by now know that I might be a glass jar hoarder he he. When I see an empty jar I think, storage device! Homemade jam! Sauce and broth container, when my ice trays are used and freezing coffee for the Mocha Frappe I posted the recipe for. I mean the possibilities for jars are almost endless. Plus I have a son, so I will lose a significant amount due to the quest of bug catching.
Today, Hyper Minnie finished off the last pickle-zilla and I have been waiting for that jar for about 2 months now. Let me just throw this out there for you, I am not a patient woman so it’s been kinda hard to not just throw the last pickle away. Finally…someone came along and ate the sucker. Now, you all know I have a big family, which also means on spaghetti night I need a pile of noodles. I buy my noodles in a 3 pound box, only because I don’t have the pasta attachment for my boyfriend, my kitchen aid mixer 🙂 I only have so many drawers in the kitchen and running to the pantry over kids, dogs and dodging toys doing a death defying teetering act is a pain. Enter the pickle jar!
