Last week I ran out of homemade ice cream and the kids were jonesing for some ice cream cones. I stood in the pantry and I found a loan small cake mix and the box of ice cream cones. I had never made it before but I decided the kids were having ice cream cones! I pulled out my muffin tin and stood the cones inside of the wells and filled them 3/4 with my cake batter. You bake the cones as if they are cupcakes so about 12 to 15 minutes at the temp listed on your box mix. Once done, let them cool 100% and frost.
