Everyday dose of Reality
This morning I rousting everyone up out of bed, with attitude mind you, yelling, “OH NO! We are late. We overslept and the kids missed the bus! Come on COME ON PEOPLE LET”S GO”! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA bodies starting moving and then our son says, “Wait…it’s Sunday”! It was too late by then Orthos was already in full fledged, “school school school”, wake up duty. Every morning I take him around to the kids and tell him, “Get them up Orthos, school school school” and he goes to work. Systematically he lays on each child and Macgyver and licks them awake.
Once everyone was up and I said April Fool’s Day, Sierra pulled out her joke. Her teacher, Mrs. Newman bless her fun loving heart, helped her kindergarten class to put together an adorable joke for the parents. Sierra ran to her backpack and came back with a little pink seed envelope. She handed it to me and told me she had to plant the seeds today, they only work if you plant them today. The envelope said, “Donut Seeds”. I opened the envelope and inside were six Cheerios. Very cute and smart thinking Mrs. Newman! I am very sad to say she will be retiring after this year. Just wish we would have moved sooner so Amethyst & Nina would have had the chance to get her as a teacher.
