I have seen these knit cup warmers for YEARS. Yesterday while I had some free time I whipped up two of them. Very simple to make and only took my about 30 minutes to make two of them. There is always a coffee cup with me, which makes it simple to measure your work. You simple crochet or knit a chain 1/2 inch shorter than the height of the cup. You will work a strip that is long enough to wrap around the cup to the handle. Make it a row shorter so it fits snug around. Once you have the length correct, simply finish off the four corners. Tie them together tightly. This will leave an open gap for the handle of the cup to rest. I set my cup on top and slide the warmer up. Now my coffee stays warmer longer, WOOT!
