This recipe is so easy and there is no way to mess it up. I do have an ice cream machine, but I hate cleaning it. Not that cleaning it is hard mind you, but I have tons of things to do. So, if I can streamline something, you can bet your booty I will.
1 & 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla, 1 small can of sweetened condensed milk, 4 cups whipping cream. Pour everything into the bowl and mix until stiff peaks form. If you would like a different flavor, such as mint. You would exchange the vanilla for a different flavor extract.
The kids wanted chocolate chips. Just grind those up a bit and stir those in. If you would like to add berries or other goodies, this is the time to add it.
Stir in your goodies. OK, I had a handful of those tiny marshmallows and the kids tossed those in with the chocolate chips.
Next step is to put your ice cream into a freezable dish and cover with plastic wrap. Leave in the freezer for about 8 hours. I have to say, this ice cream is so creamy and smooth. It lasted roughly one night in our house before the kids devoured it all. Enjoy!
