A new low for me but I have balls

I have reached an new low, even for me. Last weekend I had baked some brownies and a few were eaten but most were still in the cake pedestal. When I first made them I had forgotten we have 3 birthdays almost back to back in a two & a half week timeline. So, I guess I wasn’t too surprised the brownies survived an entire week. This past Sunday, after 2 of the birthday cakes cleared, I had a craving for something sweet. Our next birthday is still a few days off. Here is where a woman with a sweet tooth may become shameless.
Dumping the brownies into the food processor on shred, I ended up with crumbled brownies. Next I transferred the crumbled brownies into a mixing bowl. There was a half container of left over chocolate frosting from the birthdays gone by, so I dumped that in too. Mixed with the mixer until a dough formed and then put the whole bowl in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill. Pulled out a cookie sheet, lined it with wax paper, tempered some white chocolate and then made some bite size balls out of the chilled dough. Plopped the balls in the chocolate, rolled them around and let set up on the cookies sheet. The remaining white chocolate I added a touch of blue food coloring and stirred. Drizzled over top of the set up brownie bites and poof! Recycled brownies. Everyone raved about them, and they were gone before I knew it. Sad thing is, with all the company that was at our house that day, I didn’t even get to taste one. Ah such is life I guess.
