Projects & Recipes
I know a lot of people around the holidays make a green bean casserole. Then I got to thinking and after the smoke cleared, I realized some people may have no idea what is in the casserole. In prepping for our family Christmas dinner I threw together a green bean casserole. I am going to share what I put in mine and it is very easy to put together.
What you will need:
4 cans of French cut green beans
1 large can of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. sour cream
1T. worcestershire sauce
1 & 1/2c. fried onions
Salt & pepper to taste
Doing the deed:
Drain your cans of green beans and dump in a casserole dish. Dump in mushrooms soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper. Mix completely then sprinkle fried onions on top and cover with foil. Bake for an hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. You can tweak this recipe in several ways so have fun with it and make it your own.
